Decorative Emulsion

ShaliCryl INTERIOR is an acrylic based distemper for interior application. It is easy to apply and is environmentally safe and non-polluting.

Precautions & Limitations:

• Do not apply at temperatures below 10^o C and above 45^oC.

Areas of Application:

• Concrete panels, and plastered masonry walls.

Methods of Application:

Surface Preparation:

• Surface to be coated should be sound and must be thoroughly cleaned prior to application.
• All laitance, oil, grease, curing compounds, loose particles etc to be removed by suitable method prior to coating.
• Cracks or any irregularities on the substrate must be repaired by using STP PlastiSeal.
• For new plasters, coating should be done after complete curing only.
• When coating over coated surface, clean the surface, remove loosely bonded particles and sand the surface with emery paper 180. Wipe out the dust and clean the surface with moist cloth prior to coating.

Application Procedure:

• Prime the surface by diluting ShaliPaint Interior with potable water in the ratio 1:3 (One part of ShaliPaint Interior and 3 Parts of potable water by volume). Allow the primer to dry for at least 5 -6 hrs.
• Fill the dents with acrylic wall putty and allow it to dry for 4 – 5 hrs. Thereafter sand the surface with emery paper 180.
• Apply 2 coats by diluting 1.0 ltr of ShaliPaint Interior with 500 ml – 600 ml of potable water.
• Time interval of 5 – 6 Hrs to be maintained between two coats.

ShaliCryl EXTERIOR is a pure acrylic based weatherproof exterior emulsion. ShaliCryl EXTERIOR provides durability, excellent resistance to weathering and dirt pick-up. Because of a unique UV cross-link curing mechanism, ShaliCryl EXTERIOR becomes more durable with age. It is easy to apply and is environmentally safe and non-polluting.

Precautions & Limitations:

• Do not apply at temperatures below 10^o C and above 45^oC.
• Do not apply during rains.
• Excess water on the substrate should be removed by suitable method prior to application.

Areas of Application:

• Exterior surface of RCC, concrete panels, and plastered masonry walls.

Methods of Application:

Surface Preparation:

• Surface to be coated should be sound and must be thoroughly cleaned prior to application.
• All laitance, oil, grease, curing compounds, loose particles etc to be removed by suitable method prior to coating.
• Cracks or any irregularities on the substrate must be repaired by using STP PlastiSeal.

• Saturate the surface with water prior to priming.

Application Procedure:

• Priming should be done when the sheen of water on the substrate disappears.
• Prime the surface by diluting ShaliPaint Exterior with potable water in the ratio 1:3 (One part of ShaliPaint Exterior and 3 Parts of potable water by volume).
• Apply 2 coats by diluting 1.0 ltr of ShaliPaint Exterior with 300 - 400 ml of potable water.
• Time interval of 5 – 6 Hrs to be maintained between two coats.
